If the beer commercial makers aren't licking their chops right now, I don't know what would get them wet.

WE WILL NOT TRY TO STOP DREW BREES... WE WILL STOP DREW BREES.... NEXT QUESTION

He's a tough interview. I'm wondering if this reporter drew the short straw? I'm sure they've badgered the hell out of Singletary since the Seahawks game already, which may be why he was the way he was. Or maybe he's just like that. I don't know. But if he's like that all the time, I'm betting on the short straw.

I think he's just like that. He's trying to be a Ditkaesque old school coach. Part of me thinks it's bad parody, but then the other part of me kinda wants this dude coaching my team.

Actually that is Dennis O'Donnel who hosts the weekly 49ers pre and post game shows. He is very familiar with Sing by now and vice/versa. I am pretty sure that by the time of this interview, Sing had had enough of answering questions about the "communication" issues in the Seahawks game. Anyway, he is definitely old school, emotinally-volitile type of coach. I can just imagine the way he talks to the team in the locker room. Then there was the whole dropping trow incident last season. He is a character aliright.

Can't see the interview you're talking about ....says "this video is not available"....but do you mean the one where he says "there's a rat in this lockerroom....and sooner or later the smell will cause that person to be exposed...that's all I'm going to do and say about that..."

Haha...MS is a character all right. The full press interview he gave on Tuesday, day following the 49er's Monday night loss to the SB champs Saints was entertaining as well. Questions were centered around him maybe being "too emotional" for the game. Did you guys see the replays over and over again of him running halfway cross the sidelines, onto the field, with this hands forming a "T", yelling "timeout" at the referees, flipping his headphones off in full stride...still glaring at the zebras....hilarious   .

Monday night was a tough loss. 49ers outgained Saints in yards 2-1...like 470-something to 200-something....the 4 turnovers did them in. They're supposedly in the weakest division of the NFL...so still have a chance to get to the playoffs.

Singletary is certainly different than his predeccessor, Mike Nolan....who was as bland a coach as one can get. But then, Singletary hasn't proven he can turn the 49ers around, either. They always have the talent, but.... haven't had a winning season in, like 8 years, I think.

its only 2 games in.. and the 9'ers dominated last years Super Bowl Champs statistically... take the turnovers away and SF would have won..

I like SF's chances this year to win the division... the team is very close to gaining the confidence they need to start kicking some real ass...

I'm hopeful going into every season....got spoiled by those Joe Montana-Steve Young championship years.
