Great video from the New Orleans show last Thursday. Since Saturday we've been broken down in TX, but finally getting on the road again tonight! :?

A really good audio bootleg of this show should surface soon on torrent site, according to a well placed bootlegger in the audience.

Let us know when you're coming to California. Would be great to see you at the HOB on Sunset or Whiskey A Go Go.

Like all bands should...you should record soundboard recordings of all your shows and put them on small flashdrives for sale...would put an end to bootleggers, and also give you some extra scratch....why the industry hasn't grabbed hold of this idea, as a whole, is beyound me....Phish was doing this(on CD at least) 15 years ago!

Maybe the reason Journey doesn't do that themselves is because of the Royalty payouts for the songwriters that are no longer with the band. For Jeremey, I would think it to be more hassle than it's worth.

I could be wrong but I'm sure sale of flashdrives would have to be treated the same as CDs or digital downloads so Accounting would have to be tight since Journey/ Jeremey's setlist contains so many songs involving ex-members, who would have to get their cut.

Hmmm...selling a flashdrive would be no different than charging admission to hear the songs sung....no? Either way a product is being sold. You think ex-members get a cut of the door from each show?

It wouldn't be that difficult for Journey considering they are a Dirty Dozen +3 or 4 type band....worse case scenario - Perry gets a bit more money...how many songs you think Smitty, Aynsley, Prairie, Baird, Jackson, Soto, Augeri wrote that reside in the current setlist?

No, if no CD or USB is being sold, I don't think they do.

Jeremey's gigs are covered by the venue paying an annual ASCAP/BMI/ NMPA license fee I would think. So again, nothing other than the quarterly or annual payment from ASCAP and CO. would be going to the publishers and songwriters concerning Jeremey's Shows.
I could be wrong though. Things change.
