The Devil can quote scriptures....................... Doesn't make him a Christian either. Nothing about these people is Christ like, as a matter of fact, they break most every law of love and decency he taught. Oh trust me, they will get theirs.

The bible even says that in the day people will say Lord didn't we prophesy in your name and in your name do many good works? And he said, "Depart I know ye not."

Not quoted exactly but paraphrased.

Basically, if you pretend to be religious, but are cruel and evil, your in for a rude afterlife.

Why should their interpretation of the bible be any worse? I'd even say they're a lot closer to the old testament than a protestant. But hey, that's religion in a nutshell: "Oh, I'm better than you. I talk to God. I know what he wants. You don't" etc.

It's a shame though that while people like her are born in a country like USA, small kids gets killed by polio and road bombs without ever getting a chance. The bitch is delusional and a shame to the human race.

Anyone who supports the Ground Zero Mosque being built because it's their 1st Amendment Right. Has no footing to argue that these wackos shouldn't do what they're doing.

They're both disgusting and wrong.

Dude, you do know that a) it's not a mosque, it's a community centre with a prayer room and b) it's a couple of blocks away from the actual Ground Zero site, right?

I love when idiots bring this up. You do realize landing gear from one of the planes crashed through the roof right?

If you were standing in front of the building in question with loved ones of yours as the towers collapsed and waves of debris are about to be pelting and engulfing you.

Would you have said, "What's the big deal, that happened a whole 2 blocks away?" Or would you have been hauling ass with everyone else?

If you're honest and admit you'd be hauling ass. Why would you?

The area where the "community center" is supposed to be built was part of the huge DEBRIS field FROM what happened at Ground Zero, so it doesn't matter IMO, and in LOTS of other people's opinions too, including other Muslims, that it's not where the planes actually hit. I've seen interviews with loved ones of people who died that day right there and it's sad to see how painful it is to them that their dead loved ones' ashes were among all that debris. I don't understand how people can't understand that :?:

And MG, I saw that video too about that girl, so sad, what a bunch of nutcases. And to do what they do at these funerals while people are mourning the death of their loved one and trying to put them to rest peacefully, those people are complete scum.

Exactly if you want to get really techinical like Aridandu or whoever. Those poor souls who jumped from the building and landed 15 or 20 yards didn't actually die at ground zero where the buildings stood. Technically they died at GZ + 20 yards.

Exactly, and their surviving loved ones didn't even have anything they could BURY, not even so much as a finger. It's really sad to me how cold and indecent people can be about that.

I wouldn't wish them on Detroit or anywhere else. I am embarrassed to admit that they share the town in which I live. They have picketed my church for years. Fun droppin your kids of at Sunday School and trying to explain what they are doing.

People here have learned to ignore them so they have had to branch out to cities to keep the attention. They have also moved off the gay crusade to soldiers for the same reason.

They began all of this by picketing a city park where gays were known to hook up. They loved the attention and like a drug addict, they needed more and more. This continues and it is sick.

They have done more FOR homosexuals than anyone could imagine. There are countless folks that were borderline homophobic that have become much more understanding and accepting thanks the tactics of these wackos.

Not going to say anymore as I feel I'm giving them the attention they do not deserve.

Please just ignore them like the fine folks in Kansas do.

Even those in support of it, including the Imam heading it up if I remember correctly, has called it a mosque and/or cultural center. Regardless, it's only semantics.

What's strange is that, beginning in the 60s, Fred Phelps was a rather good civil rights attorney. Hate seems to have gotten the best of him, however, and he's now apparently even got himself and his flock into being full-fledged anti-Semites.

Here's a good quote from his estranged son...

I believe in God and the Bible, and my father's behavior doesn't fit the description of behavior that would show in the life of one who loves God; behavior characteristics such as Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control. Instead, my father's behavior characterizes, I believe, Hate, Outbursts of Wrath, Contention, Jealousy, Vengefulness, Misery, Harshness, and Selfish ambition. He mis-states the truth about his own behavior, about others, about the Bible, with apparent ease and regularity. He behaves with a viciousness the likes of which I have never seen. He accepts no genuine accountability in his life and is subject to no one. His lifestyle betrays the sacred trust of what a pastor, husband, father and grandfather should be. I suppose if a comparison were made between the life of Jesus Christ and my father, there would not be much to compare.

I believe that Topekans are making a good effort to try and stop him and should continue to do so. He can seem very intimidating. He can use foul language and come across with a booming voice to the community, but the truth is, like the Wizard of Oz, when Toto pulls the curtain back, instead of this big powerful individual, it's only a small, pathetic old man. I feel sorry for my father as I would for anyone who displays this kind of hate and evil viciousness. These can only be the manifestations of tortured, injured and agonizing souls.

Now this is freaking hilarious, and about the only thing Michael Moore has ever done that I like. :) Rev. Phelps reminds me of Angus Scrimm, "The Tall Man" from Phantasm.

No, but since it's from a "Hannity & Colmes" episode I knew it was old. That show is defunct.

That bitch needs to die a slow and painful death. I think she should be airdropped by the military into the middle of the al-qaeda annual conference, and allow her to spew her "religion" there. Perhaps we'd find her head on a post somewhere in the middle east.

Glad it's gone. Used to enjoy it, but all the crosstalk on that show and Fox News in general really irritated me. Here's a perfect example of that by another Fox anchor, also interviewing this evil Phelps-Roper chick -- watch from 5:45 on.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3PyoUPcobA

After 7:00, they are both shouting so much at the same time, it's hard to separate what anyone's even saying. Taking in regular doses of shout-fests like that is a great way to damage the brain.
