I heard some samples of this song, and this is the most excited I've been about an album since Toto's "Falling In Between" album! DAMN this sounds cool to me. It sounds like Mr Mister, but some of these samples remind me of Peter Gabriel. The chord structures and movements in some of the songs are AMAZING! Here's a link for you to sample the whole album. To Me, the two songs I hear the Gabriel references in are "Waiting In My Dreams", and "Close Your Eyes". AMAZING sounding songs.

Overall, I think it's going to be a treat for Mr Mister fans, but I will say... It may be a little bit of a sleeper. I wish there were more up-beat songs with a little more guitar. I like what I've heard so far today, and I'm still excited to get this album. It comes out on the 23rd, so not long to wait now. Hope you enjoy the clips.

I'm listening to this album right now as I type this, and it's BRILLIANT! Very pleasant surprise, as I thought it was going to be very slow. The songs I couldn't find on Youtube are the best ones IMO. Anyone else plan on picking this up?

Andrew... are you planning on reviewing this? I'd be curious to see what kind of a score you'd give it.

This coming from someone who's hero sounds like he swallows 5 grit sandpaper in his free time, while sliding up to a camera on his knees. Don't you have a Ross Valory cd you could be listening to right now?

This is as good as Falling in Between? Cough.. Not even close. No fire, no passion, this is extremely boring. FIB was and is an on fire masterpiece that is great from the first note to the last.

I can see why the record executives passed. This is everything I hated about the 80s-boring wallpaper music. No offense intended, everybody has their own tastes in life. It's not a missing classic.

I didn't say it was "as good". I said this is the most excited I've been about a release since FIB! Get the quotes right dammit! After hearing it for an entire day, it isn't the best cd that's ever been released... far from it. It IS however, pure Melodic rock/AOR that fans of 80's rock will have a lot of fun with. I think it's a very solid release, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. To each their own though dude.

For an album that was recorded 20 years ago, it sure does sound great. Richard Page's voice sounds great as well. Too bad this album wasn't given the time of day back then, it truely is a gem. I am interested in Andrew's opinion and review of the album.

Yeah, it's really kind of a dark progressive album, except for "Lifetime". I dig it tho, definitely the next progression for the band and an area that isn't terribly well explored (dark melodic progressive with a steely dan influence) Loved hearing Trevor Rabin on this. Some great production as well.

As much as I trumpeted it's release, I have to say... I grew tired of it within the first couple of weeks, and I haven't listened to it since. Not bad, just not as great as my initial listen lead me to believe.
