You have one daughter calling people "f*gs" and "f*ggot" on Facebook for criticizng her mom, and the other one telling Dancing With The Stars that her main reason for wanting to win was to "give the middle finger to people who hate her and her mom".
You'd think they'd understand that with their mom being a public political figure, she is going to be hated and criticized. They don't seem to realize that it comes with the territory.
Christ she isn't even old enough to drink yet!
Whatever you think positive or negative about Sarah Palin, the poor kid has been put through the ringer, and a child shouldn't be attacked for the faults of the parents.
She is not her mom, she is not a politician, she is just a young woman, single mother, with a dip-shit for the father of her kid and a mom who is a politician, she is not a politician herself, and if those who expect Bristol to act like one are idiots. Her comment about the middle-finger is entirely keep with her age.
I have to disagree - unless she has a total impulse control disorder, she's plenty old enough to follow some simple instruction in that regard. How hard is it to tell someone not to attack people with slurs on Facebook? Simple parenting.
You can disagree all you want...you are still wrong...remember back to when you were her age...did YOU listen to your parents at that point? Thought so...you are wrong. And what slurs on Facebook are you referring to? I didn't see anything about that.
Hey, I'm no Palin hater btw -- I can't speak for their parenting skills, but I think she's pretty cool, lol. I also recognize when someone's getting an unfair shake in the press, and she's definitely one of them.
About the kids though, of course I didn't listen to my parents, but neither of them ran for V.P. of the United States like Sarah Palin did. That was two years ago. You don't think those kids got at least
some coaching on dealing with the public? Here's that story:

The gossip site TMZ reports that the episode began when "Tre," a boy who apparently went to school with the Palin clan, posted his thoughts on the family's reality show debut Sunday evening.
"Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now," he wrote on his Facebook wall.
According to the website, which has obtained screen shots of the exchange, the teenage daughter of the former Alaskan governor retaliated by calling the boy "gay" and a "f****t."
"Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting ... My sister had a kid and is still hot," Willow Palin apparently wrote on Facebook. "Tre stfu. Your such a f****t."
Then, Bristol Palin chimed in, too. "You're running your mouth just to talk s***," the 20-year-old "Dancing With the Stars" finalist told Tre. After more people began to criticize the new reality show, Bristol appears to have taken aim at another Facebook user by the name of "Jon," though she used no expletives this time.
"You'll be as successful as my baby daddy, And actually I do work my ass off," Bristol writes. "I've been a single mom for the last two years."
Nice... Apparently the handlers got to them and they had to do some damage control.
Late Tuesday night, Bristol apologized on her official Facebook page.
"Willow and I shouldn't have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize.

"Nevertheless, I recognize that my family has been given a great honor and privilege to make a difference in this country, and even though I am just 16, more is expected of me,"
I'm not judging them as bad people -- I'm just making a strategic observation, lol, and I'm
not wrong. They may not be
mature, but they are both plenty old enough to understand (or learn) how this all works in politics, and no way someone hasn't told them. They would have to be idiots not to understand. My original point was just incredulity over the fact that after being Governor of Alaska and a V.P. candidate, Palin's kids would still be making these kinds of mistakes.
