Ronnie had a long & storied career.

That guy literally reinvented himself multiple times.

One of the greatest rock personalities ever.

And, personally, my favorite singer. Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, solo...

He remained relevant to the very end. R.I.P. R.J.D.

There's a web site somewhere that has all that pre-Elf stuff. I've got it on my hard drive. Rarely listen to it but it's interesting to hear where he started out.

I can't think of any singer that did it better for longer. Not one.
