I got my son XBOX live for xmas. He usually brings his system to my house on weekends. My question is: Will it work no matter what house he is in? After he sets up his settings and such; he has the old system where you have to hook it up physically to the wireless modem - will he be able to use it here, or only at his house?

I'm usually tech savvy, but I'm too lazy to look up this answer on google.....

Yep - You will just have to configure the connections. But it should remember those connections and connect automatically (after the first time) to each network.
