Check this out:

Well, people had also been saying (even prior to MJ's death) that Jason Malachi and Michael Jackson were the same person, and that it was a name he was using for various reasons. Also a goofy idea, but just more random things to cast doubt and rumors...
Now that suggestion that some of the vocals are not MJ has been floated, it will
never be settled. People will believe it whichever way they want to, I guess. For me... I haven't seen or heard anything
solid to make me think it isn't him. I'd need more than a youtube link.
Teddy Riley did say that some of the tracks were put through Melodyne, and admittedly, I don't know enough about those autotune programs to say for sure if that's why it sounds that way, but in that youtube link, the vocal does sound (to me) processed and not like an original untouched vocal.
Sony/Epic Records said that they had everything professionally analyzed (trying to find the specs on that... I read a big thing on it a couple weeks ago) when this was all being put together and didn't come up with anything squirrely. I mean, of course they're going to say that, they want to sell, but still...
Malachi himself 'says' he's had nothing to do with any of that, if we can believe that it's him saying it of course.... the twitter account isn't verified and what's funny.... for a musician with a new album out, he doesn't have his own website. Just FB, Twitter and MySpace which can be created by anyone... ooooh maybe it IS Michael.... LOL

I haven't looked enough to see if this guy has been interviewed anywhere (video, not print).
