My Bill Graham story.....we go to Winterland to see Lynyrd Skynyrd...about 1975...one of the guys who goes with us has no ticket...show is sold out but he says he will try and score a ticket when we get there...we get there...NONE to be had....has was his custom....Bill is at the door...taking tickets and keeping order with that intimidating loud voice of his...I remember he had a cool hockey jersey on too....we give Bill our tix...go in...our friend Joe is the last of our group and he comes clean..."Bill I have no ticket but I just HAVE to get into this show..."...Graham stares at him....says..."go"...and pulls him by the arm into the show.....Winterland...I wish you all could have seen a show there....:)
