Not sure if this qualifies as stupid, arrogant or both.

It's exactly what EVERY person in their situation does. Jay Leno, Howard Stern etc etc all have their names trademarked.

I know a lot of people despise the woman, but for fucks sake what is the big deal?

Exactly...I don't care for Sarah Palin but, from the sounds of it, this isn't unusual at all for a public figure and the left is only going to make a big deal out of it because of who she is.

Which this can be turned around,,, we pick on politicians left and right and make fun of them, so why should she get a free card ?

Plenty of people have hubris...it doesn't matter...the ONLY reason she is getting blasted is because she is Sarah Palin and people are dragging Bristol in just to run them down all the more.

It's not right.

Then again morons attacking her just give her more exposure, if they would just lay off she would probably fade away in time.

Defending her for what? Trademarking your name is a standard practice for people on the motivational speakers circuit. Why not just attack her for breathing?

IMHO, she's a cartoon who doesn't KNOW she's a cartoon. Anna Nicole Smith was too, but she was in on the joke. Jesse Ventura gets that he's got a big chunk of theatre going along with everything else.

SP, on the other hand, seems to take her over-the-topness deadly seriously and to think she's got it all figured out. It makes people want to puncture her balloon head.

Both you and Dave chimed in that you dont understand why she is getting blasted left and right.
So basically you two expect people NOT to blast her.
Which would give her a free card . Capice ? ;)

yep people make a big deal out of it cause of who she is.... she wouldnt get blasted half as much, if she was a cashier at a local 7-eleven , or a midwife somewhere in Idaho

Bullcrap...Both Stu and I have blasted her on here in the past and will in the future, I'm sure. However, this particular issue doesn't warrant that.

Being a bit dense this morning B...I blast her on things that are relevant...like what she would do if President, leaving the Governorship of Alaska before her term expired etc etc. What I won't do is attack her for just doing what every other person does.

Or the fact that she's against Obamacare.

I don't think anybody here has ever made that claim. Just alot of folks who like to brag about what an idiot she is. She is too stupid and closed minded to be a pro-abortion elitist type. She is kind of a backwoods hick.

Trust me on this one... she is. The GOP is desperate for a face to call their own, and they are grabbing at and reaching for anything that moves. You can thank your buddy John McCain for making Palin the face of the GOP.

I just saw her on the news. She was talking about Ronald Reagan. When she said "the Gipper" it sounded like she was gagging on a cock. I realize her Canadian accent is heavy, but that was just fucking weird.

It doesn't matter if she's dumb or not. What matters is the media getting as many fools to go along with the premise as possible. They along with Democrats don't want people to focus on the issues or the facts or the presidents record. They know they have to mock her accent or whatever. Just read the other posts in this thread.

It pisses me off to no end when conservatives eat their own just to fit in. I mean it's not like she's a republican hack. She led the fight against RINO's like Mike Castle, Murkowski, and many others.

She's just another 2nd amendment defending, pro-life, small government conservative. I mean really, is that what we really need? When we could have Mitt Romney out of Mass. and his government health care?
