What about this. Some sci-fi freaky people think that the Mayans and Egyptian civilizations had too much knowledge and figured out too many things quickly, for their time. They also had drawings of flying objects and other creatures. The Mayan calendar ends in 2012. What if aliens came down to earth, taught them all kinds of things, and told them they'd be back this many years later to destroy the earth... and that's why the calendar ended? I think this would make a great sci-fi movie!!! Or was there a movie already and my dislike for sci-fi has kept me from it?
