Screw "300." Every male that happens to read this, please go to your nearest Family Video or rental distributor and rent the movie "Taken" with Liam Neeson. So badass that you may grow an extra testicle or two.

I loved that movie, but near the end I felt they went overkill with the hand-to-hand action, so the fighting started to lose its effect with me. Sometimes less is best. :) Still, a great movie to make your date suffer through, no doubt!

I fuckin loved it. If you ask me, even though Liam Neesons's character messed up some mother fuckers flawlessly throughout the entire movie, there could of been more action and kills, hand-combat style! The chops to the throat were up-lifting. That's how good it was. Fortunately for me, my date was my brother and we were on the verge of doing push-ups and pull-ups or karate kicks. I thought it was an A+.

fun film to watch to see Liam Neeson go ballistic for 2hrs. The success or failure of that movie rested squarely on his shoulders, and it worked. Not sure another actor who could have pulled that role of quite that well. Haven't seen Neeson that commanding in a role since the extremely underrated Michael Collins. They are supposedly working on a sequel, so it will be interesting to see if they can match (or beat) the original.

A sequel for "Taken"? My movie theater has automatically just added atleast one body to a seat and the $8.00 to go with it!

Liam played his character SO incredibly well...Would love to see a sequel; I just hope they match the quality of the original.

Yeah, it's a short movie too, 85 minutes of pure bad assness (well minus 15 mins or so for the efficient story setup). Dug this one for sure...

I think that was the catch for me -- they played him "invincible" like Steven Seagal, so I was like, "Ok, we get it -- you're a badass and nobody can touch ya." I don't mind the violence one bit, but right at the very end, when he boarded the boat, the fighting became too much like an assembly line.

Great movie. I can't believe you're just seeing it now. This seems like something you woulda watched right away. I need to pick up the Blu Ray version of this.

The first 3/4 of the movie are impeccable, but the ending is nothing short of Rambo-esque garbage. They needed to simplify the ending and not drag it out with silly car chases and 2,000 rounds of missed gunfire. They had an incredible premise, perfect story line, but couldn't close it out properly. And the ending is usually the last thing you remember.

He didn't use any commas (if I remember correctly). *I* had to put them in their proper places. The nickname is, therefore, mine. :?

That's what I said too. I remember seeing the previews of it and just always saying "Man, I gotta see this one", but never got around to it. Defiantly would of been a better experience on the big screen for sure. Blu Ray is a must.

I think I would have left only ONE of those commas out, Dan. Even though I am guilty of leaving out commas at times, I do hate when people don't use them! It's very hard to follow run on sentences!! Sometimes it changes the meaning, when they are missing!
