Now this is advertising. Fucking hilarious. Listen to the owner of Santarpio's at the 1:20 mark to the 1:40 mark. Then again from 2:27 to 2:40. Finally from 2:50 to 2:55 where Mr. Congeniality says that the customer is never right. Believe it or not, this guy's original pizza joint in East Boston is one of the more successful pizza joints on the planet. Hilarious attitude, Frank. Welcome to Boston

With that guy's attitude, I'd NEVER give that SOB any business. That's not to mention that the pictures they were showing of the pizza in his restaurants looked like something that came out of my ass.

So which slice are you sweeter on Sir?
Good clip, I wonder if Mr Santarpio is that pleasant in person.
I worked for a woman like that.

That's awesome. That guy's attitude actually would make me want to go there even more. I like very blunt, no non-sense guys. Good stuff.

There's a difference between being rude and no-nonsense. That guy was rude.

Hmmmmm. Good question. I actually like both and not sure that I even have a preference. While I've certainly had bad pizza in my life...it's still pizza, right?

it's difficult, but not impossible. I've had restaurant pizza around here that was worse than middle school cafeteria pizza--and that's saying something.

I agree Melissa, and if you're from Boston, the guy really isn't that far off from reality, when it comes to the attitude around these parts. I know Dave says he's "rude", but if I'm not mistaken, Dave lives in Corn Country (Indiana, right Dave?), where everyone is holding hands and singing "We Are The World". We're a bit more hardcore around this part of the country and Frank shows that off well. Guy is absolutely hilarious.

Hilarious but rude...and I live in Indiana but grew up and spent most of my life in the north central PA/southern tier NY area. Regardless, as funny as that guy is, there's something to be said for having manners and restraining the urge to be rude to people. Sometimes people need to be told straight up how things are. I don't have a problem with that. That's not an excuse to just be a jackass to people.

I will say that sometimes people in this part of the country are too nice sometimes, though. I use my truck's horn on a regular basis around here and am just floored that most drivers here rarely, if ever use the horn, even after the most egregious traffic violations that some folks pull.

Funny stuff, but I can't fucking stand people butchering the language. Anyone that can't pronounce the word "bar" should have a baseball bat wrapped around his fucking head! How are you even allowed out of grade school like that? I'd fail any kid that said "pizzer" for pizza, and "caah" and baah" for car and bar!

Yeah I just saw a guy who was pretty much saying if you're a miserable person, don't bother coming to his place, lol. And his business seems to be doing just fine and apparently has been for years, so that kind of attitude must not be an issue for his business. And I can't say I blame him, makes sense to me. If you don't like something, or you're just a complainer prima-donna type, then stay the hell away  Makes sense! And no-nonsense people like that are kind of refreshing these days when everyone else is walking on egg shells all the time trying to be pc and not ruffle any feathers. I think we need MORE people like him in the world actually, lol. Doesn't mean he's some horrible person just for having that kind of approach. My 85 year old Sicilian grandmother from Brooklyn is the most caring good-hearted person in the world, but if you screw up and deserve to be told so, she will tell you all about your ass... and then some  I guess that's why I see this guy as pretty hilarious too, lol.

Right...and "Y'all" is two fucking words where I'm from and an "ant" isn't my mother's sister. It's an insect that I don't want in my house!

Y'all is irritating and I never say that. No one should! As for aunt ... it's pronounced 2 ways ... ant and ahnt (ont). *I* prefer the pronunciation that's (I would guess) most commonly used ... "ant." But I can live with either usage, as they're both proper. "Aks" is the one that really makes my fucking blood boil, though.

I'm not familiar ...I'll be checking it out next time I'm there!! I rarely eat pizza
anymore. For a place that has some of the best cuisine in the country/world, the
pizza here is awful!! :?
