He was good, but so is McCartney. And not as much as a jerk. He really mistreated Julian. Great musician...........not a good dad to his first son. I guess that made him less in my eyes. How can you profess so much love of fellow man, and only show ugliness to your first born son? Sean was spoiled and treated well. Julian bore most of the scars. Sad.

One of the peeps I work with told me that "Norwegian Wood" is about a girl JL met and tried to sleep with while married to Cynthia; she declined, left for work and left him in her flat or home and so he burned it to the ground... I'd never heard that story before and Wiki says it's like an urban legend but my coworker said he actually did burn it down... I don't know if I really believe it but who knows?

Still love, love the rockin' Beatles 1966 and prior--what an incredible gift they were...
