I loved it, I miss my boy very much, and am seriously looking to move there to be with him. Don't really want to leave Australia, but I liked California, and I love him very much. . Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed myself there a lot, but I did feel like I had to scrub the glitter from under my skin when I left. Got out of Vegas to go up to the mountains surrounding it, and went above the snow line - that was just gorgeous!
Disneyland was renamed Tantrumland (note - don't go to Disneyland on the same day as the Superbowl; less people than normal, but more under 5s than normal.)
I'd love to work in the Monterey Bay Aquarium! And generally fell in love with big chunks of the SF Bay area.
And yes, I tried Lucky Charms. They aren't crunchy marshmallows, they are little pieces of highly coloured crunchy evil. I was too scared to add milk, just ate them straight like popcorn.

Now really the Bay Area has some of the best food in the country and you were eating Lucky Charms.

It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some orange, and lime trees.
One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been
there for a while, and look it over.
He grabbed a five-gallon bucket to bring back some fruit.
As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee.
As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond.
He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end.
One of the women shouted to him,
"we're not coming out of this pond until you leave."
The old man frowned, "I didn't come
down here to watch you ladies swim naked,
or to make you get out of the pond naked."
Holding the bucket up he said: "I'm just here to feed the alligator."
Some old guys can still think fast.
