Wow, I just got on Facebook today and had a message from an old friend Lec Zorn that was very cool! He is working in the film industry now, and is working on a new movie (I can't reveal any movie details yet), and he's asked me if he can use one of my songs in the movie. I can say that it's not a big-budget release by any means, but it will be a full length release that's released on Netflicks. The song he wants to use is "Melinda", and it's going to be used in an emotional "first kiss" in the movie. How cool is that???

We'll have to work out all of the legal details, but I'm very excited about it. Just had to share the news! Hope you're all doing great BTW... I've been in the woods for the last several days for Army training. GLAD to be back!

Going by how long it took him to complete his debut album, that flick should appear anytime around 2018.

Thank you. I knew you'd like the news. Alex and I are re-recording the studio version of the song this week, and I'm really excited about it. It's going to be a little different than the original, as it's going to have more guitars throughout. I can't wait to get this baby finished!

It could turn out to be one of those low budget movies that make it big too. You could get onea them cult followings.
