I have been a member of this Forum and the recently-defunct Melodicrock.com Noticeboard.....for quiet some time. One of my bro's from the other board is Rocknut (Steve) and I see that he started a "Noticeboard Refugee" thread at this same site. Cool to see a former Noticeboard member making an attempt to "stay in touch". same with Rockerchick Debbie. Meanwhile, according to the latest new from site-owner Andrew McNeice, a brand new Noticeoard will become available as of Monday. I look fwd to taking it for a Test Drive.
I don't wanna be crowding any forum space here, but I wanted to establish this thread as a temporary means by which old friends can stay in touch for the moment, and new friends are invited and encouraged to mix with us here, in this Forum. I have posted here in the past, but always in response to other threads. I am hoping that.....between THIS thread and Rocknut's Refugee thread, we can manage to help keep our friends connected and the Melodic Vibes alive 'n well!

I sincerely appreciate your ongoing effort, ye Melodic Tasmanian Dude of Cool! As I have said to you MANY times in the past.....via our personal email exchanges.....that Melodicrock dot com is a one of my all-time favorite sites. Imo, this site is crucial to all things melodic rock (and closely-related).....and the community of people that it brings together. I am patient about waiting until Monday for the new Noticeboard (that will kick ass above all MR.com boards in the past). As an effort to stay in Melodic Grace while waiting until Monday, I am seriously awaiting the release of the new Journey "Eclipse" album that is due out on Thursday.
Thank you for your response to my thread here, Andrew! If you need any opinions while making decisions for site improvement, feel free to drop me an email. Since I deal in marketing, media and design, perhaps I can be of some value to you. Meanwhile, I am still waiting to receive your song Wishlist of tunes from Scenes From The Goldmine! You didn't think I would forgte, did you, brutha???
