Love his playing too! Had never heard of him before, and saw him and Schon join Jeff's band at Lofflers for a Soul Sirkus song (Praise) a few years ago. And promptly went home and bought SS's World Play, I loooooooove bass heavy rock and that difinitely fit the bill.

Check out his solo stuff, he's got a quite a bit out there. I only have Live for Tomorrow although I've been meaning to pick up more. He also plays pretty regularly at a Jazz club in CA when he's not on tour. I think this guy can play anything since he's done Thin Lizzy, White Snake, SS and who knows what else.

Yep, like Marco. But my fave bassist in Whitesnake has to be Rudy (Ozzy, Whitesnake, Quiet Riot, Dio, Yngwie).

Are you clowns serious? I understand the guy's dead, but there's no way he's in any kind of best bass player league, even considering it's a subjective thing. Get outta here.
