The Selfish Gene - Richard Dawkins
The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins/Christopher Hitchens
The Portable Atheist - Christopher Hitchens
Physics of the Future - Michio Kaku
The Death and Life of the Great American School System: How Testing and Choice are Undermining Education - Diane Ravitch

I used to listen to audiobooks all the time but gradually got away from it. Now, I'm hooked on BBC Radio productions. Sherlock Holmes, Anything by Agatha Christie, Chronicles Of Narnia, Tolkien, James Fenimore Cooper, Dr. Who.
Really, everything I've heard the BBC do as a radio play has been great.

Those books would put me to sleep, too, and give me nightmares,
all except the last one!!
Seriously, listening to people read puts me to sleep, I'd rather do it myself!!

:D BBC7 rules! Although they just changed the name to Radio 4 Extra. Did you catch the production of "I, Claudius" recently? And if you haven't listened to "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" yet, you need to check it out. Weird, but gloriously so.
