Just saw the promo announcement on facebook for the "Waking Up the Neighbors" anniversary, so I went to check out the US tour dates and I'd have to say I'm a bit disappointed so far only because there aren't any anywhere near me (northern Illinois). Is it more a matter of getting through the European leg of the tour or..?

Pianoman, I just saw BA 3 weeks ago here at UCLA, an acoustic show. I went into feeling like it would be slow, soft and boring, yet it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen, period. Do yourself a favour and catch a Bare Bones Tour show, it is incredible. The guy is simply a superstar and funny as Hell. he had the audience busting up throughout, just comedic genius. I will post a song later here. I haven't heard crystal clear vocals like this since forever. No rasp at all, just clear and fine. It also helps that the guy is playing concert Halls with fantastic acoustics. There were 3,200 folks there, sold out, and like I said, it was phenominol.

Anyway, he is doing a Waking up the Neighbours tour with full band in Europe in June/July which includes headlining many festivals. His popularity overseas is second to none, except maybe U2 and Springsteen, and that's a big if.

From what I hear, the Bare Bones tour will continue on, however, the full band will also play around the world. Word I hear is that the plugged in band will do Canada next followed by the USA full blown tour. What remains to be seen is if a tour partner will be needed here in the US. I know I sure would not want to follow this band onto stage regardless of where they play, they are that good.

One last point here, PM, is that Adams is not restricted to America or Canda for that matter, like many of his 80 rock contemporaries. He is a worldwide, truly international act. off the top of my head, I cannot think of a single artists who plays more diverse cities/countries than Bryan. Everywhere from US/Canada/Europe/Asia/Australia/S America and India, and also has been to Africa too. It's hard to play everywhere isn't it?

Thanks for the info and input Dean. Keep me posted as tour updates arise because I would like to catch him at least once at some point in time no matter what type of show.
