Concert Seating

In this day and age, it's good to see that at least one venue has implemented a very simple, common sense approach to purchasing a seat or seats for a concert. If you click on the link below you'll see that you can select the section and exact seat(s) that you want. No surpises, no googling venue seating charts and no refreshing to try to get seats closer to where you actually want them. Every venue should do this. It looks like Foreigner is doing a VIP package, too, as those are the only seats still available toward the very front of the stage.

This is absolutely the way that every venue should handle ticket sales. You can tell that Live Nation and Ticketmaster are still trying to work out the kinks, though. This interactive seating map wasn't available for the first three weeks after tickets went on sale, and every once in a while it still reverts back to the old way of doing things. But LN and Ticketmaster are definitely moving this way with more and more venues.

But yes, ultimately every venue should move this way. Of course, it still doesn't solve the problem of venues only releasing certain seats at certain times throughout the on-sale process leading up to the show...

Bite me. Talent is talent. Not a damn thing wrong with enjoying the hell out of a long awaited show. And believe me, I wasn't the only one, everybody else around was enjoying the hell out of the show too. Stellar reviews! :D So don't knock it, until you too have shared a musically simultanious cosmic orgasm with a thousand other people. :P    Bahahaha!

For somebody who says they love music so much, don't tell me you're one of those duds that just sits there tapping their finger on their knee.

This is great! Hopefully that will be something that catches on everywhere. The refreshing and that little timer are very annoying! :x
