Eden's Lie?!? Sounds like someone's trying to ride Michael Eden's coattails and rip off E.C. :)

I'm best friends with the singer of Eden's Lie, and they've been around since 1994. They write some damn good tunes.

I actually suggested to him that he open for Eden's Curse at one point.

I was totally kidding about E.L.'s name man, lol. Don Dokken is the only guy who gets ripped off on a regular basis, past, present and future. Sounds like a good show and I love FireHouse. I'll have to check that band.

That being said, your friend wouldn't be the first to go backward in time to rip off Michael Eden (and maybe even attempt to prevent his birth to toss a wrench into rock n' roll history). If only that technology had been put to use for good instead of evil, think of the possibilities.

Looks like Eden's Curse will be opening for Dream Theater in Europe soon. :)

On my way in a few minutes for the 90 minute drive...I'll post a review and pics when i return, for those that care...Dan and Beshad - this doesn't mean you....

And Rip, I'm not bringing a plethora of inserts...just bringing ONE cd insert, no case - and no bevy of sharpies. And I won't be running a 5k trying to track down Bill Leverty....

One CD insert is fine... but don't you want to get something signed for yourself?

Have fun!

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Been too tired to write a review...however, CJ still has his pipes...and Leverty can bring it.

As far as Far Cry, i didnt care for the new lead singer(Mike Ledesma)...he's no Mark Giovi.

Eden's Lie surprised me...may look for some of their stuff...

The opening band, Full Circle, literally sucked....and that's not hyperbole.

Of the 4 Firehouse shows I have seen since the O2 days, they have brought it every single time. I only wish they did not do the multiple lead singer thing...but I understand giving CJ breaks in the show.

They're quite likely the most underrated indie artist in the history of New England-area bands. You will have difficulties finding their early albums because they're out-of-print.

If you want an excellent starter album that you can still acquire, their self-titled album, the only one released on a record label (Kivel Records,) is really good, where some of the musicians of Bombay Black make line-musician contributions and helped with the production of the album.

Their new one, 'Epiphany Season,' is a mixture of new songs and re-recordings of old songs.

My personal favorite (though it's probably impossible to get by now,) is their first official album 'Break the Surface.' It contains remakes of their best tracks from their demo days.

'Revealed Live' is excellent and probably the easiest way to listen to those hard-to-find tracks.

'Aligned' is probably my least favorite album, but it's worth acquiring for 'One For the Last' and the original version of 'Say.'

Send me a PM if anyone of you would be interested in a signed Far Cry booklet from their debut signed at MRF2. I've literally not picked it up since I got home that night.

I don't think anyone else sang during their Dallas show earlier this year. Here is my video from that one, btw. It was the first vid I'd taken with a brand new camera, and I got some great footage in there.
