Streaming Upcoming Single "Stay"

Postby Jeremey » Sat Aug 27, 2011 7:37 am

Hey everyone, I previously posted the acoustic version of "Stay," and today I premiered the final album version of "Stay" on my Facebook page. I'm trying to reach 800 fans on the FB page by September 1st, so take a listen to the new tune & please visit my Facebook page (link in sig) to "Like" my solo music.

The final version of "Stay" has a pretty nice melodic rock pedigree, words & music by myself and also featuring Eric Ragno on piano & keys as well as Vic Rivera on guitar and drums. I hope you all like it. The single will be released on iTunes next month. Here's a link to the streaming version... :D

That song is awesome. I'll share it on my Facebook page and tell them to like your Jeremey Frederick page.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Jeremy.... Dude! This one's a keeper! Seriously, this song grabbed me at the first chorus and I just fell in love with the melody. My wife just told me to tell you it reminds her of some of her favorite soundtrack songs from 80's movies, whatever that mean...
Anyway, there's no doubt in my mind this track is radio worthy. And contrary to Jim, I really liked the lower harmonies.
Always enjoy listening to your vocals my brother. Whether it's with your old band.... what was their name again... (wink, wink. Nudge, nudge...) or solo, you've got a gift. Thanks for sharing it with us.

    Sounds a lot like my wife who.... claims to be a rock music fan and more specifically, likes "pretty much ALL the rock bands from the 70's & 80's." Really?? then how come whenever I ask her "who's this...?" when she's singing along to a song, her default answer is "umm... REO Speedwagon I think." Could be Heart, Pat Benetar, Hall & Oats.... doesn't matter. And the ridiculous thing about it is REO is HER FAVORITE BAND, we have ALL THEIR ALBUMS, she graduated from college in their home town and used to go see them when they still played local clubs and we've met the band a few times!!!   The point I'm making is you'd think someone who clearly loves a band as much as she does and has been more than just a casual fan for as long as she has would know their catalog well enough to be able to state with conviction that "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" is NOT by REO!

Thank you guys, everyone, haha. Been busy this week & haven't been around here much, but I do appreciate the kind words. The song will be available on iTunes this coming Tuesday so check it out...For more info visit my FB link in my sig!

Tom, "Rolling Away" was part of about 5 or 6 songs I worked on with my friend Juhani Nahkala in Sweden. It was on one of Andrew's MR compilation CDs, but that was all we did with any of the songs from that collaboration. Some of them were really strong, but we couldn't seem to pull together enough really big tunes between the two of us to get any further than that. Glad it lives on though!
