Maybe not sunny but definitely hot.

Saddest part is I read recently, (still not confirmed) is she was trying to sober up cold turkey.

Old soul? I've heard that term before, but most putative old souls I know don't spend their days injecting, ingesting, and drinking various drugs

Cold Turkey = BAD IDEA and dangerous.

2 ways.

1. Go see a doctor and they will prescribe some drugs to ease the withdrawl symptoms

2. Ease off (at least with alcohol). Drink half of what you had the day before each day until you are down to nothing (not recommended, but it does work if you stick to it)

Dangerous blood pressure spikes are possible when a person goes cold turkey.
