Damn! You've got one Helluva A/V setup at your place my friend if you got hooked on this meth show..... never mind, it was much funnier in my head.
Hollywood wrote:...when they dumped the ATM on that guy's head and it blew up like a cantelope. Really tense ending to the show tonight. I like how they make Gus look like a good guy when dealing with Jesse and an evil man when dealing with Walter. Just amazing point of view film-making.
The ATM scene was... well, that whole entire scene in that living room with the dialog between the chick, "I aint no skank!" and the tweaker and his hairbrained ideas about how to get the ATM open.... it was all pretty comical and I agree with you about the 2 sides of Gus - completely! And to that exact point, there was a scene within a scene tonight that I certainly didn't catch and would have never known it existed unless I had read about it on a forum dedicated to the show a little while after the show aired.
In the scene when Jesse and Co. arrive at the "hospital", right when it becomes clear that Mike was not a concern, Jesse starts yelling, "Hey, what about this guy?!" As he's delivering that line and facing away from the car, Mike "regains consciousness" (in a way that clearly shows he wasn't really out to begin with...) and looks up at Jesse. Then the scene cuts to the doctors wheeling Gus away and then cuts back to the car from a camera that's farther away this time, and while Jesse is still standing there in disbelief about their disinterest in Mike, you see Mike's hand leveled at Jesse with gun in hand. After reading about it, I literally had to watch it 3 of 4 times at about 1/50th regular speed to see it. Damn! That scene changes the perspective of Jesse's actual value and worth to Gus, Inc. but since nobody except 5 guys on a Breaking Bad forum, me and now you actually saw that scene.....
Ep 12 looks like it's going to be equally intense. The preview shows police dogs sniffing the laundry, Jesse getting the shit beat out of him - again, Mike appears to die while in Mexico, and much more!
Great, great show! can't believe it's almost over again already. The thing that sux royally about the cable networks and their made for TV series is that they take for-fucking-ever between seasons. That goes for all the ones I like.... Dexter, Breaking Bad, and especially Mad Men! They've been on hiatus for a year and it still doesn't begin the new season until next April! WTF is that...?!
