Ohio Gun Law now allows concealed carry in bars

This law allows you to carry a (duly licensed) concealed weapon in bars as long as you don't drink. Thoughts?

I generally support gun rights, but this seems a bit ill-advised to me.

If you can't drink, what's the point?

I see no problems with this. People should be allowed to protect themselves. If someone else then wants to play a stupid game, well, they'll win a stupid (Darwin) prize. Take special care in noticing that this will allow legally-licensed individuals to carry in bars. The vast majority of these types of people who carry legally are more sensible and intelligent than the average person. The moron gang-bangers have been carrying their guns in bars since the beginning of time so this won't affect violent people in any way except for to make their lives a little more difficult. How can that be anything but a good thing?

If people would remain sober in a bar. That seems a bit redundant..........I go to a bar, but I don't drink. :? I get it! Designated driver and protector of friends! He is a Designated Driver with attitude! 8)

I do not drink at all. I don't like it. I go to bars to socialize though

I don't drink either, and I have gone to eat at some with friends. But I am sure some would appreciate a Designated Driver. It amazes me how many people go to drink heavily and don't even think about how they are going to get home. They just think they will magically be alright and bad accidents always happen to someone else. Russian roulette with a bullet.......drinking and driving.
