Wow. I have been to many concerts, but this one was just incredible. Talk about a band that knows how to entertain the audience and put on one hell of a show. I had a particularly difficult time locating the venue due primarily to just how crowded and busy that part of Saint Petersburg is, but even with my limited understanding of Russian, I did locate it 50 minutes prior to Apocalyptica hitting the stage. I went by myself but soon became acquainted with many of the nice people surrounding me. It's funny how quickly they can spot someone who is not Russian, and then they know I'm American before I even finish the first syllable of whatever I'm saying. I guess my accent is pretty heavy

They were a ton of fun to talk to and laugh with. There was a gorgeous Russian girl who I ended up being jammed up against throughout the whole concert. I don't think either of us minded it

Speaking of jammed, the venue, Lensoveta, was packed to capacity and then some. There were probably 2500-2600 people there. I was in the pit so it was primarily people around my age (20) but looking up into the seats I saw many people in their 40s-50s who were clearly enjoying themselves. The 1-2 punch of opening with "Quasimodo" and "2010" is just spectacular. The drummer was really impressive to watch, akin to Deen Castronovo.
Setlist (not in order and I'm sure that some are missing)
Quasimodo
2010
Master Of Puppets
End Of Me
I'm Not Jesus
Cello solos
Nothing Else Matters
Grace
Inquisition Symphony
I Don't Care
Seek And Destroy
Farewell
Last Hope
There were probably 3-4 more songs too that are just escaping me. They played from 20:00-22:00
The venue was really nice, built during the Soviet era as part of a project to emphasize culture. It had a very historic feel and the staff were EXTREMELY friendly. I had a great time.
