I told you motherfuckers that she didn't do it. There was never one scintilla of evidence against her. I'm just glad she's finally going home.

They need to arrest the fucking prosecutor. What a corrupt asshole. I knew she was innocent and I'm glad she is free.

She still has a defamation lawsuit to contend with after throwing her ex-employer under the bus.

Absolutely, and she probably should. She has some explaining to do about that. I'd like to know when she said that, though. If it was at the end of a 30 hour interrogation I'm going to have to give her a pass.

Man, did the sentiment ever change in this case. That town wanted her to die when the prosecution laid out the case and got the conviction, but after today's verdict the people outside of the court, mainly residents of the town, were all cheering for her. When the judge (rightfully) dismissed the (fake) DNA evidence, it left the prosecution's case with not one piece of physical evidence tying her/them to the crime.

They're wops, they wear their emotions on their sleeve.
She's talking about being a translator but if I were her, I would steer clear of returning to Italy for a long, long time.

Just stopping by for a hit and run post.

I am obsessed by Amanda Knox. Something about her drives me wild. She has some mysteriousness and deep passion about her. Look at her pics and you can see through her eyes....they just draw me in like a steel to magnet.

To be completely honest, I am surprised how this court in Perugia, Italy, can reverse a former decision so drastically, but who cares? Knox is an American and to Hell with the the Euros.

I am glad she is flying out of that shithole tomorrow to come back and be in America.

Let the interviews begin.

PS- does any other guys here think she is hot, or is it just me?

I'd fuck her BUT I would make sure that bitch was tied up nice and tight and I wouldn't get anywhere near her teeth at all. Pearl necklace all the way (after a Hershey run). Probably use a gagball on her just to be safe.

Dude, please. Have some respect for a fellow comrade if not hero. She pulled guilt from the jaws of yellow/brown stained Chiclets and horrible breath, and turned it into a lifetime of innocence, and thresholds of cash. Good for her. I love this girl.

I want to befriend her on Fb. If I had the time, I would fly to Sea-Tac tomorrow to see her arrive. That place will be bonkers tomorrow, watch.

PS- And don't call Amanda a bitch

No, it's not just you. I'd still insist on a padded room with no cutlery or ice picks.

Thanks for stopping by Dean!

Having Hayden Panteniewhat'shername play her in the movie helped as well, that chick is a total smoke show.

I went to college with a chick that looked as close to Hayden Panetierre as you can get in real life. Same size, same hair, everything. Smokin hot chick.

Hey Mr. Scotland Yard, do you know if Amanda did it? How so? As Dan so eloquently stated it, there isn't a miniscule shred of evidence. Gimme a break. The "staged burglary?" How about the 4 other guys those smart Italians arrested, and held, and said, "oops" our bad, you can go?

It's all academic now, as Knox is in the air en route to Seattle. The prosecution can appeal, but she doesn't have to return UNLESS, the US honours a treaty with Italy regarding extradition, and then maybe, just maybe, she could then be fucked. And if those pizza mowin' sonsofbitches convict her again, then I fully support the President dropping a bomb over that toilet.

Off topic here.........but what is the story with the 3 guys that were released after years in jail for the killing of those children. One was even on death row. They were just on Pierce Morgan the other night and I'm a little confused or maybe not paying attention enough......but what was that about they had to admit guilt or something and then were finally set free??? :?

PS: Good to see you back posting, Dean. Hope things are well. :)

Thanks. I know about them and their high profile supporters, but what exactly does this mean. This is where I'm confused..... they're innocent, but admit there is enough evidence to convict them??

"On August 19, 2011, they entered Alford pleas, which allow them to assert their innocence while acknowledging that prosecutors have enough evidence to convict them."

The way I understand it is this. They were petitioning for new trials due to DNA findings. (There was evidence at the crime scene that could not be identified. Thereby suggesting reasonable doubt.) If this were to go to re-trial, it would have been expensive for the State of Arkansas. Then after they, probably, got acquitted, they'd have filed suit for damages, which could have been exponentially expensive for the State of Arkansas. So, in a legal move, the State AttyGen made a deal. He worked with the courts to get a new trial granted (They were opposing/blocking it.), as long as the WM3 would plead guilty. A guilty plea would maintain the State's conviction, and prevent new suits. The Judge would rule on a lower sentencing, so that 'time served' would suffice. And finally, the WM3 would be freed immediately. If they had not agreed to this, then they most likely would be sitting in prison for several more years fighting all the legal bureaucracy.

So, in short, an Alford Plea is just a series of gives & takes to make it all end asap. It's kinda like a truce from both sides...after they're tired of fighting...and then all the legal language is just part of the treaty.

At least, that's the way I understand it.

Thanks muchly! I started watching the program half way through when they were more discussing adapting back to real life, so I'm pretty sure they had already discussed this Alford plea thing.

I thought you to be smarter than this. The onus is on YOU to PROVE she committed the murder. You couldn't adequately do that. "My side" only has to sit and then appeal if a decision comes down we don't concur with. The defence did appeal and was proven correct. The defence did do that, and as a result, Ms Knox is a free woman, a very sexy one at that.

Look, so Knoxs' DNA was on the knife handle. Of course it is! It's a shared utensil in the home. Now I really cannot explain what the boyfriends DNA was doing in Heather's blood. That confuses me, but in now way implicates Amanda.

This case was so quirky, that Hillary Clinton was almost involved. You know there are questions if the US Secretary of State is involved.

Dean, the judge threw out ALL of the DNA evidence and the appeals jury was instructed to negate it from their deliberations. This left the prosecution with a glaring problem ... no evidence! The room where the murder and rape was committed was something out of a horror flick, with only Rudy Guede's DNA there ... everywhere, including on and inside the victim, Meredith Kercher. There was also a bloody handprint of his on the wall. Ironically, for 2 drunk and high "thrill killers," Amanda and Raffaelle left no hair, saliva, blood, fingerprints or footprints anywhere in the room where a violent struggle and massacre occured. The sick thing is they believed Rudy Guede and he had his sentence reduced to a mere 16 years. He'll be out in a about a decade.

I know all of this, but....let us ask the simplest of questions- How could Amanda and Raffaelle be indicted and convicted, alongside that Guede douche? Are these greasy chain wearing, body odor, nasty breathed, Camaro driving fuckheads this Goddamned dumb? So they lock up Guede, rightfully so, and still go after Knox and Bespectacled? Why not round up the entire neighbourhood? Just arrest a dozen or so and maybe one will be guilty?

I also find it remarkable Amanda taught herself Italian law while incarcerated. Fuck no she didn't do this.
