Cancer sucks...does not care how much money you have, or
how successful you are...and he had the worst kind.

Very sad

I hate to hear this. My wife and I went out to dinner tonight , and she read it when we got home. I can't say I'm shocked though, because he's had cancer for a while and he looked pretty fragile the last time I saw him. Cancer sucks. On a separate note, one of my wife's best friends from work for the last 20 years died from a massive heart attack today. Life can really suck sometimes.

He was one of the best, if not the absolute best, innovators of our time. Our lives have changed so much because of his visions and visions like his.

+1 man. We just lost one of the most brilliant, visionary innovators way too young. To the technology world, this is like Lennon getting shot.

Jobs really beat the odds to live as long as he did. Most people with his ailments would have kicked it five years ago.

I'm waiting in my cold cell, when the bell begins to chime.
Reflecting on my past life and it doesn't have much time.
'Cause at 5 o'clock they take me to the Gallows Pole

Truer words my friend... truer words. His ability to bring to bear his visions and his ideas are iconic and legendary.
I just got home and turned on the TV and was greeted by this story. Sad day in Silicon Valley and around the globe.
R.I.P. Steve.

In memory of Steve, here's one of the funniest spoofs of Apple and everything "i". Hilarious!

I won't live to see tomorrow
There won't be another breath
None of them will ever sorrow
Those who sentenced me to death

I've been waiting here for ages
For the hangman to appear
Soon the priest will read some pages
From the Bible for my fear

Very sad, but he fought the good fight. Nobody else lives that long with what he had and that proves he was a purpose driven man and did not give in and was not selfish.

Back in the days of COMDEX his keynotes were #1 on my list of priorities to attend when I was there.

Have him announcing it on video with a little halo over his head.

My professor always says: "Good painters paint. GREAT painters steal." That damn Bill Gates! Steve Jobs. One of the founding fathers and advancements of what's current sitting in front of your face.
