My one month old daughter seems to be digging this CD. Luckily, no lead singers to have to deal with on this one.

Good stuff here!! I've been popping one of these in shower gift bags for a few years now!!
I mostly give Journey, but depending on the parent, sometimes Bon Jovi, Eagles, Beach Boys, Stones!!
My girls listened to the real deal, to this day SP's voice is comforting to them!!

You have a baby girl, John ......awwwwwwwwwwwwww, congrats and hugs!! I know you're proud!!

Thank you MG. Yes, I have a baby girl. She celebrated one month on Saturday and I celebrated 41 years on the same day. As I have told my wife, I am out of the baby making business FOREVER, as I am WAY too freakin' old for this

John,

I can tell you as the father of 2 extraordinary young women that the road ahead for you is going to be... well..... let's just say the old adage, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!" is never going to be more relevant! My oldest is almost 21 and her nemesis and sworn rival, my youngest is 17 1/2. There were times I was positive I would one day end up in jail for killing one or both of them for the aggravation and aneurisms they invoked!  As they grew up and I watched them applying the life lessons and morals my wife and I had instilled in them I realized we could have had it much worse. MUCH WORSE! :D Lead 'em, love 'em and then let them use the tools you're giving them to become who they are going to be. Odds are she's going to make you the proudest dad alive. One thing is absolutely certain: the next 18 years are going to go by faster than you can begin to imagine!
Congrats on the new baby!

Good luck and God Bless!!

Steve

Thank you for the sentiment Steve. If I'm being honest, I've never had any desire to raise a girl. I have three older sisters, and growing up with a collection of sisters was enough to traumatize me for life  I've only been a daddy to a little boy for the past 5 years, so I have a whole lot to learn!

I feel ya John!

Two younger sisters here (3 and 6 years apart). My girlfriend's family also consists of her parents (of course, part of that is her mother), her, and her two sisters. Please let me have all boys

I know my mom says I was a lot easier to deal with than my two sisters. Girls can be vicious, especially with their moms.

The thing about girls over boys is that after nearly 21 years of raising them, I've never heard a conversation start with the phrase, "I wonder what would happen if...." or "I dare ya to....?"   Now, boys on the other hand......

At least my little girl is cooperating and was already doing the Touchdown pose at 1 week old. After I saw her do that, I told my wife that no DNA test was needed

Good call MG. She actually looks exactly like her brother. Sadly for her, that means she looks like her daddy  Here is my boy with his freshly picked flowers for his mommy out of our garden. They are definitely related to each other. Thank you for the kind words.
