I don't have a horse in this one - I admire both clubs. Something about LaRussa's magic this year tells me the Cards have it in the cards.

Cards will win. Texas has a great team but Im not sure if R Washington can manage a post season team all that well.

Since I'm a Brewers fan I'm hoping the Rangers win, but I think the Cards will pull it off.

LOL. I take back what I said about wondering if R Washington can coach in the WS. That steal in the ninth inning was gutsy and was key to them getting the two runs. Maybe it will be Texas who wins this if their bats start talking in Arlington.

I'm sorry. If I didn't know better, I would swear some Cardinals were on the take to fix this series. NO ONE in MLB drops a ball like that more than once or twice a year, let alone in consecutive innings. This one smells VERY fishy.

I love Texas in a lot of ways because they really remind me of the 95 and 97 Indians teams. They almost made the analogy scary accurate with Feliz's Jose Mesa-esque performance in the bottom of the 9th there.

But I have to say, I'd much rather see the legendary LaRussa win over the coke fiend Washington. Looks like I won't get my wish, though.

Washington's an idiot. We had this game and he stuck Neftali in there to just give it away. GOOD GAME CARDS! They deserved to win.

He started getting visions of celebratory coke lines dancing in his head. Sorry to see you guys lose, but that was a hell of a game for objective/Cards fans. But I feel your pain. I cut my sports psyche teeth on the 95 and (worse yet) 97 Indians.

Apparently they should have given the ball to Terry Felton or Al Hrabosky? Feliz has been lights-out all season. You're not much of a baseball fan if you don't know Washington made the right call there. They just didn't execute. One of the best games in the history of baseball. Can't wait for Game 7.
