The one and only time I saw them was at the US Festival back in '83. Very intimate setting - just me, my buddy Mike and 500,000 immediate family members!![]()
Bought the Triumph DVD "Live at the US Festival" the day it was released! Sadly, Rik is another one of those singers who basks in the "prima dona" glow that seems to associate itself with so many great singers. Rest assured should they ever decide to stop here in PHX if they do another tour, I'll be first in line for tickets!

Just edited my list above and added a few.
Regarding the Rik vs. Gil thing.... I dunno..... If you know the situation (which I'm sure you do - or at least part of it anyway,) you can see it through both of their eyes. However, watching the interviews with him over the years and especially immediately following the announcement of the reunion, he really comes off as a pompous ass. It's no secret he was the talent and the key wing nut in that enterprise but when you hear him state that fact and go as far as to mention in interviews that "there's no problem with me (Rik) being ready to go back on tour, but Gil is going to need a lot of work because he hasn't touched the drums in 15 years - and it shows and Mike..... I have no idea how Mike's coming along....) Direct quote! And that was AFTER the announcement had been made! Don't get me wrong.... I like him a lot both as a singer and a guitarist - brilliant in both respects. He's just a little bit too vocal about certain things. Just my opinion.

I just remember reading somewhere that the hold up is more Gil, cuz he's got a lot of business things going on and not sure if he wants to go back out on the road. But I really have no idea. Never saw that interview, wow.
