Anyone ever see the "Wes Craven film" "Wishmaster?"

Is it any good?

I'm a big fan of the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise, and wonder if Wishmaster is similar in style to the Elm Street movies?

It's good if you like to get drunk and laugh at terrible movies.

Is that really a Wes Craven film? Had no idea.

Well, it's titled "Wes Craven Presents: Wishmaster." But he is NOT listed as having wrote or directed the film. I know that Robert Englund is in it.

Englund isn't in the movie, and although it's a campy 80's horror flick, I really liked the 1st one. It had a very interesting concept... make a deal with the devil, you get what you want, but it may not turn out like you want it. Some very funny/cool parts in there. :D

Englund isn't in the movie,

I've never seen it, but IMDB lists him as being in it, as does the "A Nightmare On Elm Street 3" DVD Robert Englund filmography.

Pretty lame stuff. For a price, Craven just slaps his name on things for a producing credit. He also did it with "Wes Craven Presents They"

There's a bunch of horror cameos. Tony Todd (Candyman, Night of the Living Dead remake) is in it too.

yep. Any time you ever see "from the makers of/from the producers of/from the people who brought you" run don't walk away from that movie.

Yeh, George Romero just did it with a new anthology collection called "Deadtime Stories." Horrible.
