Steve Lukather: I try not to get TOO deep in here or too personal. I am in a quandry about the internet lately. In many ways its great but it has also become a negative cesspool as well. I am 2 SECONDS away from turning this thing off for GOOD. You guys are cool and all + most are real nice but some also take the internet as free for all for hate and theft, lack of privacy, gossip and lies and slander. I was with Mike Porcaro yesterday and we spoke at length about the internet. Pros and cons.. this is a man that knows how precious life is now...Some things should be PRIVATE and people have shown up at my home and there are lies about me and my personal info I am pissed off about. I think the old 'give and inch take 10 miles" applies here. I am a hyper-sensitive person and it is starting to affect me in a negative way. Some ass-clown has a video up that says ' "The best of Steve Lukather " and its a cat taking a shit in the toilet. OK, funny right but WHAT was the motivation here?? I am not sure where to go with all this and I am in deep though about it all. Smiley faces and all that BS are all so fake to me. I TRY and be friendly and nice and yet people write me some pretty fucked up shit in private and in public and also accuse me of things I did not DO and or putting me up against ex band members that I have not spoken to in years.. I am almost DONE. Life is too short ya know. Could it be the anti-christ is the fucking computer? Time will tell... but for NOW lets keep the peace and love thing goin Ok please

Unfortunately, it's the world we all live in now. I hope he knows there are a lot more ***holes out there than decent people.

Whenever it comes up in my house we get alot of laughs out of stuff we've seen the real Luke do and we always talk about the amazing musical things as well, why would someone need to make stuff up???? That's stupid.
