Sheesh...So are they just going to replace the singer every time they get sick and can't do a gig? Why not just hire like 5 vocalists at a time and whoever's in the best shape on any given night is the one to take the stage?

I was excited for the rumored/discussed Anderson-Wakeman-Rabin (with maybe Bruford, and probably Levin) project, but they turned the heat way down on that. Jon, Rick and Trevor remain good friends, so I won't rule it out. Yet.

My thoughts exactly! So it's okay for Journey to do it, but not Yes? I don't get it. Hell, it's their band and their decision. Who cares if they're old and need medication? Won't we all at some point? Lol!! I think the singer they're going with should please Yes fans, and he sounds great.

Kinda like a pitching staff for a MLB team. Just keep them in rotation. And then when the tour is over, they could put out live albums with each singer, and a final compilation. It'd certainly be an interesting twist on marketing.

They're two completely different bands/outfits, though. TSO, for the most part, is a faceless collection of musicians, an "orchestra", who don't rely on individual members having name or face recognition.

Jon Davison sounds closer to Anderson than Benoit did...but I still want Anderson back. I still will be listening since they are my fav band of all time.

Sorry but do not disrespect the band. Yes is far more talented than Journey has ever been! Steve Perry is my fav singer of all time, but YES built the mold for PROG ROCK! Yes still rocks while Journey is fading. Faded when Perry left.

Rilly?? That's a classic. You might like the '80s incarnation of King Crimson (Fripp-Belew-Levin-Bruford) better: Discipline, Beat, Three Of A Perfect Pair, Absent Lovers (live 2CD).

I actually like KC's first few albums up until "Red". That one just never grabbed me, for whatever reason. It's been awhile since I've listened to it, though. I probably ought to go back and take a listen again.
