A Presbtyrian Hospital? So did God cure this girl or science? Also, would they treat an athiest?

Good freaking grief! The video merely mentions that it's New York Presbyterian hospital and says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about God, Jesus, religion, etc., and only that this is the hospital that helped this little girl and what you take away from it is some stupid "Well, did God cure this girl or was it science?" {insert annoying, snooty, elitist attitude here}. Of course they would treat an atheist, you moron! They do it every freaking day! It has nothing to do with the religious preference of the patient.

Dave's right, Duncan. You just have to hope you don't die during the procedure ...
because in a Presbyterian Hospital you'd go straight to hell. I think that's the rule ...

I remember hearing about this little girl on the local news ...what a sweetie!!

They probably perform an exorcism on each patient and a snake-handling ceremony in each room.

Sorry Dave, I don't like the idea of churches sponsoring hospitals or schools. It's a legitimate point, nothing elitist about it and if you don't see the potentail conflict your the fuckin moron.

Wow.... really? You chose to take the time to reply to the post after obviously watching the video and somewhere in your mind you feel the appropriate topic of your post is the fact that the hospital is affiliated with Presbyterian Hospitals, Inc. which is your call to action to shit on it because it is in some way affiliated with a religion. Bravo! Outstanding use of your abilities and excellent use of your time. Well done, sir. Well done!

Terrific use of sarcasm by an American. I'm impressed.

I really don't mind spending 90 seconds of time winding up Americans.

The thing is, doctors using science do amazing things all the time. It's nice to hear about good news, but what was unusual to me and, something I had never heard of before, was church hospitals. Now my question might have been somewhat flippant, but it did strike me as odd that religous organisations, who often lobby against certain medical practices, should be running hospitals.

They are all over America, Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist ...etc. I'm not sure what crazy religion you are referring to, but
I know what you are talking about. Those particular people are insane, much like the funeral picketers who shall
remain nameless. Even so, the churches do not make the medical decisions ... I believe they leave them in the hands
of the professionals.
