I voted for YES, because a lot of bands are doing it.

But will anyone really care? A lot of bands are reuniting but quite honestly I fail to understand why.

I think only the fans of that band care. Some of the bands reunite (I think)because of the money, because a solo project isn't working for them.

It would be a good to see them back together, they may come back with a bang as I think Cherone has a point to prove.(He must still be pretty pissed off with all the grief he recieved with the Van Halen III fiasco).

I don't see it happening.

I think it may happen. They are all friends still (from what i've read). I think if they did do it it wouldn't be at the expense of their solo careers.

They were an awesome band that could have really recorded some great albums if they had stuck together.
I haven't really been a big fan of Nuno's solo stuff although every album seems to have 2 or 3 excellents songs but i really like Tribe of Judah and hope Gary does more of that stuff soon.

I should add, I would like to see a reunion but don't think it will happen.

i read this recently about the guitar wars cd:
melodicrock.com wrote:"Nuno Bettencourt Session" - Gravity . Cupid's Dead (Extreme) . Get The Funk Out (Extreme) (Gary Cherone on vocal) . Midnight Express . Hole Hearted (with Jon & Steve, and Gary on vocal) . More Than Words (Extreme) (Gary on vocal)

was nice of gary doing vocals on nunos set, i hope maybe this will lead to something.

btw another band i like to see reunite :? ... MR.BIG! (with paul gilbert of course) maybe japan would make it a national holiday when/if this happens lol

It's my opinion that all bands should reunite at some time before their demise, if only to cap their existence or reason for being, or what have you. In part , it may be for the money, but I think that it would be more for the fans and the bands satisfaction in rediscovering the FIRST LOVE that attracted the fans in the beginning.
I wonder what wonders we might have of the Beatles if they had regrouped? They were so young, still. But then we got some wonderful music from the individuals ,that we might not have otherwise.jmho.

NO because it has already been tried by VH-1's Bands Reunited, and Nuno Bettencourt wouldn't even let the VH-1 camera crew film him saying "NO, I wouldn't go anywhere near them!"

Was very rude.....Sounds like he has an axe to grind about something.

I think so, but with not with Paul the original drummer. I think Paul married Gary's ex-girlfriend and there's a lot of bad blood over it. That's the rumor I heard.

Actually, they DID reunite for a couple of shows a while back. It was for some Philipinne benefit or something. They played 2 shows I think. But for a real, full-blown Reunion...NOpe, I doubt it.

I read that they did a small tour in Japan without Paul Geary their bass player not long ago. I wish they would release a new album though, something that sounds like Pornagraphitti or 3 Sides To Every Story. It's sad that such a great band isn't recording albums or touring in North America. :(

Wasn't Paul Geary the drummer? And Pat Badger the bassist? Either way, I think you are correct that it was Paul that was not a part of any reunion.

I remember seeing these guys (on TV only sadly) blow all of the competition out of the water at THe Freddie Mercury Tribute. To this day I think Gary Cherone is the only guy who could ever replace Freddie Mercury. The way he handled the crown at Wembley was beyond words. A way better choice than Paul Rodgers IMHO
