Saint John is in the hospital for Pulmonary Embolism(Blood Clot in the Lung). He said he thought he was done for and bastard even joked about planning on having a few drinks with RockinDeano
He's gonna have surgery and should be home by Monday.
I thought I would keep the " family " informed .
He hated the idea of a prayer thread so I figured I'd start one  ;)

Get well soon Dan !

Yes having a sense of humor helps...tell him I have offered to be his private duty nurse...I will take very good care of him!! It won't hurt a bit and he won't remember anything!

Damn, that's not cool at all. What the HELL is going on? Dan's a monster though. I'm anticipating a full recovery. Good luck in surgery, bro and get well soon!

EDIT: Didn't see the update. Glad there will be no surgery, that's always a good thing.

The belly blood thinner shots & the sexy  white knee high sox are much
more preferable than the surgery.

Yep.. I let Dan know so if he has any questions or wants any info, know all about the meds, testing, etc. Husband was on Heparin for a week, then home on Coumadin, and Lovenox shots for 2 weeks, which of course I had to give him, lol. Been on Coumadin for months and may be for life; he has a genetic blood disorder that increases clotting problems, and an antibody problem also that does the same thing, those 2 things are what showed up from the tons of bloodwork he had to have done. Has to have his INR levels for the Coumadin checked every couple weeks too.

Get well soon Dan!

He's making me giggle from some of his messages, I'm glad he still has his humor, especially with something scary like this during an already hard time.
