Well done sir! You have produced gold. I love it and it is worthy. I am playing it over and over again, while waiting for my actual CD to get here.

Best money I have spent on a CD in years. It is that good!

When you buy the CD you get a download link for immediate gratification.

DO It now! There is nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Thank you Jeremey. It's great!

:)

I downloaded it Friday night and love it! It's very melodic with a range of unique songs. Love the slow, jazzy sound of "I Think I Know". "This is Your Life" and "Stay" are my favorites. Outstanding vocal harmonies on "Can't You See he's Gone" and a hint of country feel on the lyrics of "Every Little Thing". In fact, the lyrics all the way through are very well written. That's a rarity in today's music.

Well worth the 5 year wait. I knew we'd get an album out of you someday. Thank you, J. Hope you have a lot of success with it.

Edited to add: I checked my mail today and got the hard copy. Wasn't sure I was on the list for the handwritten journal so that was a nice surprise. Much appreciated!

What impressed me the most is the songwriting.

Good stuff!

I hope Cain comes knocking on your door. From the sound of the last few things they need some outside writing help and since you helped co-write probably the best song on Rev I would say their may have been a good writing chemistry. Their loss they never gave it a chance.... Nothing against Arnel but I can tell you with some certainty that he can not write anywhere near this level....

Phenomenal effort from Jeremey. You know a good CD from the first couple sounds of the first couple songs and it hits you right in the face. Very well put together. I love basically everything about it from a musical standpoint. Great rockers with very nice and relaxing melodies and soft-rockers like "Stay" that is very much catchy. Just in time for Spring as well. Will be playing this and JSS's Damage Control probably all summer. Can't wait.

It's a great album. I keep going back and forth between it and VH's new one, which I love.

Wow, thanks a lot guys....So glad everyone likes the disc. All the feedback I've gotten so far has been fantastic, but I know the disc won't be for everyone...There's certainly things about it I would have done differently had I had the time to finish without the pressure of my vocal surgery, but when I finished what I had and decided that it was definitely "finished," I knew the final disc was something I'd be proud to stand behind. I really appreciate everyone checking it out and I'm so glad you guys like the songs...Of course I know you guys are biased as well, LOL....But seriously, thanks so much, and thank you for talking it up as well.

You're very welcome. Now get well so you can get doing what you do best! :D

I can see a few of these songs getting radio play. They would be great over the air waves.

Just purchased the CD and got an instant download (very cool). I wanted to show my support for top quality (non cookie cutter) music plus I think Jeremy did a great job with the album.
I have always loved "What Can I Do" since I first heard the demo so I am glad to have a proper release of this song.
Here is to many more releases....congratulations!

Jeremey, you not only nailed the coffin shut on the idea that you have little to offer as an artist beyond mimicry, you buried it six feet under and pissed on the headstone. Some seriously sublime vocals, though I will say sometimes you come on too strong with the rasp. For some reason, Adele kept popping in my head throughout the entirety of the album, which is a very flattering comparison. It's obvious that you have a variety of influences to draw from.

But what surprised me most was the depth and dimension of the songwriting. You really went for an eclectic and diverse (to borrow TNC's words) album here that floored me. Now more than ever am I convinced that you would have nailed the Journey gig.

My only prominent criticism is that, as I feared, the musicianship is not up to par with your singing. I don't mean to dismiss the talents of those who played on the album, and perhaps because it was your solo album and not a true ensemble effort, but the truth for me is that they didn't shine nearly as much. In that respect, this is more Street Talk than Frontiers.

Not sure I agree with you with my "bolded". Jeremey had recent vocal problems and I feel that touring Journey's catalog would have made that much worse. This is not to neg on Jeremey. Also don't agree with you on the musicianship of this album. Neal should be envious. This band is everything Journey should be right now....but they aren't. Jeremey is creating a familiar kind of magic, while not a sound alike, this is a band that takes us down a very similar path.

I never said he'd last, though I'm sure one could make the argument that he could given his own rigorous touring schedule with Frontiers.

Have you done a complete 180 on Eclipse? It wasn't too long ago that you were praising the album for its musicianship, I believe. Whatever your beef with the Schon-Salahi media frenzy may be, you shouldn't indulge in Loon-inspired soccer mom-perpetuated revisionist history that tends to pop up when someone makes an ass out of themselves in the media.

For me, the only stand out performance on this album is Jeremey himself. Fortunately, his singing and writing are strong enough to make it work, but the band itself is in no way Journey-class.

The band is not "Journey class..."

Considering that the idea was "not" to sound like Journey....oh who am I kidding. Jeremey was probably backed by a bunch of hacks. Lmao. Killer album, still playing it constantly!

Just to comment on this, I respect your opinion Giddy & thanks so much for the compliments! I do think the guys who played on the CD did stellar work, and I can't imagine better piano or guitar or drum playing than what Eric, Vic, and John brought to the record. I can only think maybe because this was a solo release, built around my vocals, rather than a band effort, could be coloring what your perception of the playing is. Naturally, writing these songs for my voice, I did the arrangements etc from a standpoint of highlighting my voice, which was a very different approach than if the CD was written with each player contributing a performance better suited as a group effort. Also, at many points throughout the CD I'm playing many of the instruments myself, LOL...So my guitar work in "I Think I Know" or my piano playing in "Hoping For You," etc may have contributed to the idea that instrumentally it could have been a stronger release..And I have no doubt that had I stepped back on playing on a lot of those parts, the music would have been a cut above, which is my bad. But I don't apologize for my bass playing LOL, I had fun doing that! :D

Also, just to comment on this last part, LOL....My experience with Frontiers can in no way be compared to touring with Journey. I don't spend a whole lot of time on "what coulda beens" but honestly, my experiences with Frontiers have been far more brutal than any schedule and demands would have been with Journey. Keep in mind, I've toured continuously for four years, doing most of the manual labor of running a tour myself, doing 2 hour sets in the original keys, handling sound issues at less than world class venues, performing most nights from 11 PM and getting to bed at 3-4 AM, while getting up at 8 AM or earlier to drive another 7-9 hours the next day and do it all again. My current issues come from singing while sick, but like I said, the comparison to being with Journey, touring 5 months out of the year on triple bill concerts with 8 people at my disposal to bring me anything I need, 75 minutes a night and tuning down with the support of world class equipment and handlers, it's really no comparison at all. I think a better question would be could Arnel handle the schedule and responsibilities I've kept up over the past 4 years...I don't know, probably, but still neither of us are spring chickens, LOL.

You're welcome, man. I'm a very picky, particular listener and not easily pleased (this is a preemptive STFU for those who hate Eclipse  ). I don't listen to many tribute bands at all and I was always skeptical of your ability to handle Journey. But your singing and writing really won me over here. In fact, I believe you probably bring more to the table as a writer than even as a singer!

The hacks were FANTASTIC, melding perfectly w/the vox.

The track "What can you do" could actually fool me into thinking this was a long-lost track from the Steve Perry years. I think Jeremey sounds identical to Perry here, not so much in other tracks but wow, close your eyes, listen to this track, and listen to Jeremey kill the Steve Perry sound with ease.
