Does anyone believe any of these shows ? To me ,you have people looking for more than their 15mins, and networks looking to sell commercials every 3 minutes. All of these shows are now nothing more than copy cats. It is laughable !

I'm sick to the stomach of all these crappy shows.
The ones with music/talent aren't quite so bad, but all these 'fly on the wall' things are really getting on my bloody nerves.
What the heck is a Kardashian anyway? And why would we want one on British tv?
We now have this thing called 'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings' - it's in its third series.
I have no idea why it is getting air time.
When you have seen one episode you have seen all of them.
Teenage gypsy girls go to a dressmaker in Liverpool to have a humungous meringue style wedding dress made. The cost of the dresses are never disclosed but each dress is too enormous for the girl to walk in even if it was narrow enough to fit down the aisle of the church.
Then you see scantily clad girls barely in their teens writhing about on the dance floor at the wedding reception and going on and on about how scrupulous their morals are. And we see little girls going to Church for their Confirmation wearing dresses that weigh so much that after the event the girls have red gashes on their hips where the bones of the dress have cut into their skin.
Then you get the gypsies bemoaning the fact that any wedding venue who finds out they are gypsies before the event will cancel their booking etc etc because no one respects them and their culture etc etc.
One programme about the gypsy culture is one thing, but THREE series of the same thing all the time????
And it's such a thrill to discover that we have The Voice making its debut here in two weeks and on the same night we get the return of Britain's Got Talent.
Groan.

If they aren't completely scripted, they are certainly at least influencing the participants in whatever direction they want the show to go.
Some of them are going to end up getting someone killed...For instance, the Biggest Loser. I applaud those folks for working to try to get in shape but those trainers are going to end up driving someone to either death by heart attack from being overworked or something like that.

I agree. It can't be healthy to take weight off that fast.

What is it with networks making reality shows around white trash rednecks? CMT and The History Channel have really jumped on that bandwagon lately.
