Aerosmith DVD Concert

How is it possible that a band that has been around as long as Aerosmith has been around has nothing remotely good available on a concert DVD? They're only the most successful American rock band, EVER. They have two things available on Amazon and neither has very good reviews. I'm just astonished that a band who has been around this long has bubkus to watch on DVD. Hell, the guys calling themselves "Journey" release a new DVD every 10 minutes, with their "new lead singer" for that particular week

I don't know. I've seen Aerosmith 3 times. First time in the early 80's at Miami baseball stadium. Bryan Adams opened, followed by Journey, then Aerosmith for 12 bucks! Those were the days. After Journey, Aerosmith took about an hour and a half to come on. At first they sounded decent, then sluggishness kicked in probably from drugs and Tyler sounded like he had ate a shit sandwich. Journey was fucking awesome and BA was great also. Last year I saw Aero at the Bank Atlantic center, great show. Richie Supa came on stage and they did one of my fav Aero songs that he wrote, "Chip away the stone".

I'd LOVE to see one of the Pump tour. Same with Motley on DR Feelgood.

Courtesty AR and NIG I have a KILLER pro-shot DVD of Crue on the Girls tour, and a great Aero private show from last decade.

But you're right there's scant Aero concert footage. The ONE they have is very good, "You Gotta Move" from the Honkin On Bobo tour but would love to see more come out.

The Stones are slowly unveiling great DVDs from all eras not sure if all the bands were smart enough like that tour record for posterity.
