Lzzy Hale reminds me a lot of Ann Wilson.

I'm off "Headlong Flight" until I'm finished with this album. 2nd song in, and it's kickin' me in the head. Love it so far.

I like that Lzzy Hale has gotten notoriety without being a contestant on one of those karaoke talent shows. She's in a real band that rocks. She also comes off like a dirty whore which is also appealing.

I saw them supporting Disturbed and Papa Roach last year, and supporting Shinedown this year. I haven't been as impressed by a support band since I saw Van Halen blow Black Sabbath away in 1978. Both of Halestorm's albums, and their covers EP, are magnificent. Full of hooks and amazing vocals. To be honest, Lzzy Hale could sing from a telephone directory and still send shivers down your spine.
Within the next 12 months I think Halestorm are going to become huge.

If you drop 'Beautiful With You' and 'In Your Room,' it's a perfect album.
I don't know if they're required by their record label to write one or two power-pop songs, or if they do so just to attract a mainstream crowd, but they should just stick to pure rockers. There's already too much of that power-pop crap ruining the American music scene. Halestorm is above that.

I've been listening to Love Bites (So Do I) and I must say that Lzzy has one hell of a set of pipes!
