Milwaukee Summerfest Lineup Announced

Postby Peartree12249 » Fri Apr 27, 2012 1:27 pm

Pack your bags and head over to Milwaukee's beautiful lakefront for Summerfest, World's Largest Music Festival this summer. Headliners this year include, Gov't Mule, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Steve Miller Band, ZZ Top, Iron Maiden with Alice Cooper, Aerosmith with Cheap Trick, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Zak Brown Band with Blackberry Smoke, & Halestorm, and for Deb, Burton Cummings! (sorry no JSS or Mr. Big announced yet) And they haven't even announced all the acts yet! I'm definitely planning to see Joe Walsh and Gov't Mule.

That is an awesome show. Not sure how it meshes with an already full summer concert schedule I already have but it is tempting.

Went to Sunfest all day and all night saturday. It's a music & art fest in palm beach that has grown significantly over the years. Started on wednesday and ends today. Lot's of great bands thru the week and yesterday seen a band in the afternoon called Michael Franti & Spearhead. I was blown away. This guy is kind of reggae, kind of pop, kind of rock and what a great show he put on with his band. Later on, Rocket to the moon played, All american rejects, Third-eye Blind, then the band I came to see, my pretty little Joan Jett and the blackhearts. She didn't disappoint either, started off with "Do you wanna touch" (yes I do), then into Cherry Bomb and all the hits.
"Steve "The Riffmaster" Clark"

My generations "Jimmy Page"

Iron Maiden is going to blow every other band away

And I'll probably end up taking my daughter to see Big Time Rush. I'll get to go see the bands I want to see again one day, right?
