The only other person i have ever seen this color was a woman who used iodine as tanning lotion, the results where very similar, almost a golden/bronze chocolate. That lady died of cancer a couple of months later(she was a big smoker) can't tell you if it was the iodine that did it, but I imagine it didn't help.

I was thinking there HAD to be something else making her THAT dark! I mean we see wrinkly old dark prunes walking our beaches here, from years of sun damage. But they are dark and saggy and leathery. They don't look like this lady! To get that dark I'd say you're right!

How old is she, Lynny?!? She has a five year old so my
first thought was perhaps the child was a menopause baby... :? or does
she just appear much older?

No kidding ...geez, I love the sun, it makes me so happy all those
little endorphins swirling around in my brain. Studies have shown that Americans
are so depleted of Vitamin D, which results in heart disease/attacks and a host of
other problems, because of their fear of sun damage/cancer ...so apply the sunscreen, slap
on that baseball cap and float in the sunshine ...not the tanning booth!!

PS~When I was a teen putting iodine in the baby oil was the norm.
