Who is singing for Survivor ? That song he did with Ronnie Spector years ago was tops.

Jimi rocks ... but I found Eddie Money cringe- worthy the last couple of times I've seen him. Be interested to hear what you think.

I'll report in on Sunday. The show is in Ocean City, MD about 150 miles and 3 hours away. Got a free place to stay down there on Saturday night.

Eddie is having a bit of a problem delivering the goods lately, but
I'd still rather see Eddie than someone else singing Eddie songs ...
unless it was a tribute band and the tickets were much cheaper.

Now if you can just film all of Survivor and focus the camera on JJ, closeup,
most of the evening, that would be a nice report.

Would love to see Mr Money do I Wanna Go Back.
If it's not to much trouble, that's my request. :)

Cold and windy here in Ocean City. I will film a few songs as long as my battery holds up.

In the era of hideously expensive concert tickets, seeing Eddie Money and Survivor for only 30 bucks was refreshing last night! :)

I saw Eddie back in March and I was a bit disappointed. He played for only an hour. The performance itself wasn't *too* bad, but it was a far cry from the 2 hour setlist he delivered just a few years ago. I think the last few years have caught up to him.

I posted it in the Survivor section but forgot to link it here as well. Shaky video from far back but the audio is halfway decent.

better than he's been in many a year. He's done a remarkable job of getting his voice back over the past few years. He was really rough for several years in the early 00s.

Did he quit smoking? Burton Cummings quit smoking 3 or 4 years ago and the difference between his late 2000s gigs and now is INCREDIBLE.

Jamison still has it. But how vigorous has he toured the last two decades?

not much, I don't think--although I don't know the corporate schedule he has. He couldn't have survived on the couple of solo shows he's done.

I imagine that has to play into the longevity the likes of him and Chalfant enjoy.

I think it just depends on the person, but the touring schedule has to help somewhat.
