Cancer is a mother fucker.
Donna Summer caused my first tinge of Jungle Fever, talk about a brick house. I still party to her music every New Year's Eve.

I liked her voice...she had a strong soprano and a great range.

Bummer... not just a "singer", Summer was pretty knowledgeable about what it took to make her voice sound good.

She was known to annotate the lyric sheet with specific EQ frequencies and cut/boost amounts that she expects the engineer to catch on-the-fly, during recording.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

+1

This was one of my favorite Songs, from her "comeback" in 1987: "This Time I Know It's For Real".
Weird-association moment: The Asian girl in this Video was in my College Music History class.

DAMN I love singing along with her on this

One of my favorites of hers, not so well known. This time I know its for real...easy to sing. Nora it seems we are thinking alike on this one. Great tune!
