IMO The greatest rock band of all time. Bar none. 40 years later Zep continues to influence today's musicians just as they were originally influenced by the great American blues artists of the 50's & 60's. I'm so grateful I was able to see them live.

Wow, they do sound surprisingly good there.

Just watched parts of the rest of that show and the rest was similarly good, certainly much better than their shows during their coked-out haze in the 70s.

Jimmy didn't really start losing it until around '77. Booze and heroin were his main problems.

The "coked-out" phrase was a generalization.

Plant has been the lone holdout forever it seems like.I don't know if he is scared it will hurt their legacy or if he just feels like the door is closed forever on it.For years they could've reunited with 3/4 of the band and the drummers son Jason Bonham so that could've worked even if they only did 15 or 20 of the biggest places in the world and spread the dates out so no one gets tired.I feel like they could've did at least 20 shows and take a few days off between each gig and it would've worked.They could've did like ten shows spread out over America then did the other ten in different countries around the world like the UK,Austrailia,etc.

I suppose if we take Plant at his word, he just has no interest musically to go there any more. I don't blame him. He's been there done that and moved on. At least he's out there making the kind of music he loves and still touring. I'd love to hear Jimmy Page create some new music. There are so many musicians who'd give their left nut to work with him. But he's not doing anything. As far as Jason is concerned he did a fantastic job at the reunion concert, but he needs to create his own legacy. His work with Black Country Communion stands on it's own.
