I made the mistake of reading that while eating breakfast. Disgusting. Rest of food down the drain.

Holy shit. They're so bad that they're not bad... if that makes sense. In other words, the pics don't even look like they could POSSIBLY be real. I didn't realize it would be this bad. That's about as fucked up as anything I've seen.

Maybe he thought the homeless person looked like Jesus and took the whole "Eat the bread and drink the wine" to a whole new level of communion.

He must have been a hypocrite.

At any rate this leaves me with the question of how does anyone just lay there and let someone eat their face?

I wonder if the dude had been listening to Alice Cooper?

I thought the exact same thing. Apparently he was "struggling for his life", but the attacker wasn't a chimpanzee. You'd think he could have kept the guy at bay at least.

Are you sure about that? Authorities are speculating that this wackjob was on a type of sythetic drug dubbed "bath salts". This specific substance was first designed in 1969 and available under a host of different names. However the sale and use of this substance has recently resurfaced in popularity. There has been a rash of injury and death among users of this substance recently. One of the characteristics users of this drug experience is unexpected strength. Yet there will be a group of morons who want this to be legalized and try to do so by claiming it could bring in lots of revenue via taxes.

The man attacked was homeless. Who knows what his own physical or mental abilities we're at the time he was attacked. He was 65 years old. People seriously think this sounds like a person who would have an easy time getting away from this crazed lunatic?

Not saying it would be easy at all - just hard to imagine. Forget the affects of the drugs on the attacker... I'd be able to summon up all sorts of untapped strength myself if my face was being bitten off, lol.

Legalized why? Don't you think we have enough burn-outs and Cheech & Chongs running around this country pissing it away as it already is?

Exactly. Malnourished as well and the only physical activities he's seen for a decade or more was just picking himself up off the ground and walking around all night. He may have been in a deep sleep, maybe under the influence of alcohol or sick and then this crazy fuckhead comes along and attacks him. I'm in outstanding shape and I don't think I could have fought this guy off of me if he just appeared and attacked me in my bedroom while I was asleep. That's why we have firearms in the house and my wife is just as good with the weapons as I am. Since there are so many morons out there who think drugs are ok, including weed, all these crazy stories about people going off and killing someone like this guy did to the homeless guy in Florida, are only going to go up in frequency.

Seriously, a lot of the time when people are on drugs, it takes a lot more effort to get them under control tnan it does when they are not all drugged up.

To be fair, if you are going to make marijuana illegal, you have to make all the other, more dangerous drugs, illegal, including alcohol. Put that in your
glass and smoke it. People who drink are far more dangerous than pot smokers. I'd much rather have a stoner at the wheel of a car than a drunk.

The nutjob who ate off the guys face in Florida was a pot smoker. Now sure pot isn't what did it, it was the other shit that he took to get high after he was moving on to a new drug for a new high.

You want to drink, smoke, take drugs, that's your business. But in the end don't expect any sympathy when the suffering from the side effects begin.

Yeah, and from what I understand in the news articles that I've read, the first bullet only slowed him down some. It was the following bullets the ended the mauling.

I don't mean to be harsh but I've had quite a few friends and relatives who have either died or completely ruined their lives from drug and alcohol abuse, which all started as simply recreational use. Not one person that I personally know who started with pot and just stayed with pot. That's why I'm so against substance use. In the real world nothing possitive comes from using drugs and alcohol, except to those who are living in the fantasy world while under the influence of these items. Wonder why so many middle aged people are so fucked up nowadays? How many of them were substance users sometime during thier lives?

All drugs (including alcohol) have one particular thing in common with each other, it causes the user to remove reality from thier mind. When you have to escape from reality in order to be happy, there's a problem right there.

Woman says face-chewing attacker was religious

MIAMI — A South Florida woman says she often read religious texts with a man who chewed off the face of a homeless man.

Yovonka Bryant said Wednesday that she last heard from her boyfriend, Rudy Eugene, the day before the attack alongside a Miami highway. A police officer shot and killed Eugene. The homeless man remains hospitalized.

Bryant says she and Eugene often read the Bible and the Koran together and watched a religious television program every morning. The couple had been dating since March.

It’s not clear what led to the May 26 attack. Eugene’s autopsy results are still pending.

Court records show he had several arrests on marijuana-related charges. Eugene’s brother has said Eugene did not do hard drugs. Bryant says she only saw Eugene smoke marijuana once.
