Ah for some reason I thought May and Taylor were performing with the band.

Also I noticed they're performing in Bethlehem, PA which isn't too far away from me, but damn $30 for the cheap seats to see a tribute band....um no. I don't mean that as a disrespect for them either.

Also from the video it kind of looks like JSS is going through the motions there.

Martel is going to be the focus. No way around that.

Jeff does have a major portion of the show however.

I've seen a few clips now and it is way better than what was on American Karaoke.

American Karaoke contestants sounded much better than the whole Queen fiasco. They looked RIDICULOUS up there, and JSS's fist pumping was weird as hell and WAY out of place. I was ashamed to be a queen fan while watching that garbage. Queen need to just hit the road themselves with Martel IMHO.

Anything on A.I. is going to suck. The clips of the actual tour are pretty cool.

Mostly impressed with the band. They sound good on the 2 tracks I watched and aren't showboating like on that awful show.

Have waited a long time to hear Jeff sing some Queen LIVE, ever since I bought his Queen dvd 6 or so years ago. Sounds pretty damn good for the first show........very much looking forward to the Calgary show (2nd to last). :D :D

Why only Jeff's? Because he's taller, so he's more noticable? All 3 of them were doing it.

Because JEFF is the one being talked about here! I also thought the back-flipping guitarist was ridiculous and they're making Queen more of a circus act than any kind of "tribute". There, you HAPPY???

the back flipping guitarist is what pissed me off on the network clip. They have seemed to have reigned THAT in.

Jeff was doing the Bowie part.. and doing a damn fine job..

Martel - at least in the interviews I've read and seen - is genuinely humbled by the attention and equally honored have his name said with "Freddie" at the same time. What will win folks over won't be his voice.. but how he handles himself... so far I think he's doing great.

Martel will only get better being around Jeff...

It looks like a great show. A spectacle.. something I'm sure Freddie would really really enjoy.

I really have to shut up about Martel. He was playing keyboards. Actually a musician. Good for him!

I really think he's gonna wind up fronting Queen... and this tour is a great way for Queen fans to accept him... and for him (and Queen) to see i f his voice can handle the songs.. (which I think he'll have zero problem with)

To see him fronting Queen in a final tour - singing the way he does naturally... would be a fitting and justified tribute to Freddie.. and a great way for Queen to call it a career.

Much better than Adam Lambert and all the baggage he would bring.

It's about the songs... and Freddie.

This is breathtaking... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4AWAL9R3II

We'll see. Jeff has been a friend since the Journey 06 tour so I may be assuming too much.

Most likely I will get to at least say hello to everyone.

Your opinion, and I already know what you think of me. I prefer not to listen to Queen music with back-flips and weird onstage antics. I think the whole concept is ridiculous. And you're wrong about Idol. Just because you hate the show and slant your biased opinion of it, there was plenty of talent on the show this year.
