.....how awkward. Considering his wife died almost 2 years ago. He was classy and gracious about it and just went along instead of embarassing her on national tv. He mentioned it off camera after and I guess she was mortified and has been tweeting apologies all over the place.

Marty was a true pro there. He could've very easily turned her into a puddle of spew had he not taken the high road. Kudos to him for that. He's always been one of my favorite comedians since the first time I laid eyes on Ed Grimley - I must say.....

He was pretty funny as one of the judges of Canada's Got Talent too. Although I wasn't too impressed with the contestants this first year, was expecting much better, IMO it just seemed like a lame version of AGT.

As one that watches this show on a semi regular basis, i'm sure KLG probably didn't even know though i'm not defending her in any way. Anyway continue on with your regulary scheduled programming

Wow... yes, pretty awkward and he did handle it with extreme grace, lol. Who really knows about her drinking problem... apparently she does drink. Kathie Lee is one of these ladies who sort of became a heroine of the "faith" years back, and like Tim Tebow, she ended up being a pretty polarizing person for doing it, setting herself up for failure. There's a lot of suffering in the world, and I think people relate much better to public figures they can identify with -- not so much those who sort of tout their perfect lives or fairytale relationships on a day to day basis. I think that just sort of comes off as false to people.

After her husband Frank got caught stepping out on her, she really started acting bizarre. I'll never forget this top she wore one morning:



Anyway, I don't watch her, but have seen enough clips to know she behaves pretty risque these days, and I get the impression she's more controlled by her ego than her faith.

She kinda reminds me of this other well-known celebrity publicly proclaiming her "faith"... her ego was totally out of control (watch from 1:50 on):

Before anyone gets upset with me for knocking faith, that's not really my point here -- only that people should be a little more real. People can tell when it's sincere and when it's an act.

What a stupid wench. This type of mistake is unforgivable. If you are going to interview someone, you should do some minimal research. A simple Wikipedia skim woulda uncovered this fact. She should be summarily fired.

And what makes it even more despicable is the fact that they have lackies who do all the research and fact finding shit for them. The fact that she fucked up that bad goes even further to show that she was talking out the side of her head and trying to come off like she's tight with Marty and/or is super "in the know" with everyone in showbiz. She fucked up on several levels with that one.

Hey Deb, do you know the air date of that show? The upload date is yesterday but what day did it actually air?

I know she won't do it, but an on-air apology to Marty and to the viewers with her taking responsibility for her most egregious air would go a long way.... just sayin'
